Story of a floating city, Blueseed

Blueseed is a floating city which is located in international waters, not far from Silicon Valley, California United States. But do not mistaken this is a small island inhabited by people.

Blueseed plan will be a cruise ship or barge is overhauled. In it will be well provided accommodation space living room, work space to entertainment facilities.

Users who want to experience the facility to pay around 1200-3000 U.S. dollars per month. But this place is only a capacity of up to 1,000 people with a crew of about 200-300 people.

Floating city project was founded by Max Marty and Dario Mutabdzija and is led by PayPal co-founder Peter Thiel. Blueseed will be placed in international waters, 12 miles from the coast of California.

"This ship can also be enjoyed by the entrepreneur or startup outside the U.S. and able to work in the near Silicon Valley, without the need for U.S. work visas," said Peter.

Apparently, a barge that doubles as a yacht like this is also in demand at least more than 100 international technology companies. In research released by Blueseed, approximately 20.3 percent came from the U.S., 10.5 percent from 6 percent from India and Australia.

Just for the record, the companies that now inhabit Silicon Valley, among others are Adobe Systems, Apple Computer, Cisco Systems, eBay, Google, Hewlett-Packard, Intel, and Yahoo!.
