The HP TouchPad, at long last, brings something completely new to tablet hunters.

To start with the hardware in the HP TouchPad is impressive. It is run by the Qualcomm Snapdragon APQ8060. This powerful Asynchronous Dual Core CPU works at it's top speed (1.2 GHZ) in both cores simultaneously. It beats the iPad 2 CPU by some way.

The other defining and new-to-tablets feature of the HP TouchPad is the operating system. HP webOS is a multitasking OS and can almost seamlessly handle multiple apps as well as doing a better job of handling notifications than either Android based tablets or the iPad 2.
